Kilang Kotak
The Malay language sibling of CartonBox.my, on its own domain, with the catalogue, the category writing and eight articles all rewritten in Malay rather than machine translated.
What we do
KilangKotak.my is the Malay edition of the same packaging business behind CartonBox.my, and it sits on a domain of its own rather than behind a language switch. That was the decision worth making. A language toggle buried in a header is a tab most people never press, and it splits the ranking signal for every page across two versions of one address. A separate domain named after what Malaysian buyers actually type, kilang kotak, gives the Malay catalogue its own pages, its own titles and its own search footprint. The work covered the design, the build and the writing: the full product catalogue, the per category copy and eight original Malay articles.
Short description
KilangKotak.my is the Malay language packaging catalogue of Fixguru, run by IAM Worldwide Sdn Bhd from Jalan Telok Gong in Pelabuhan Klang, Selangor. It lists 130 products across eleven categories: corrugated cartons in A flute and B flute across small, medium and large, plus pizza boxes, document boxes, layer pads and gift boxes, each with its reference code and exact internal dimensions. Custom sizes and custom printing are made to order. Buyers enquire by phone or WhatsApp rather than checking out, and the full catalogue can be downloaded as a single PDF.
What the business says about itself
Their About page describes a 65,000 square foot facility in Selangor and close to a thousand product lines, and claims more than ten million packaging units shipped, over thirty years of manufacturing behind the business and five years supplying online sellers specifically. The promise they lead on, in Malay, is the right packaging at the right price delivered fast. All of that is their own account, taken from their site.

- A Flute vs B Flute Which wall suits which kind of goods.
- Apa Itu Kotak RSC What a regular slotted container is and why nearly every box is one.
- Corrugated vs Kadbod The difference people get wrong when ordering.
- Memilih Kotak Untuk Perniagaan E-Dagang Choosing a box for an online shop.
- Di Mana Nak Beli Kotak Karton Where to buy, shop against factory.
- Kotak Kek dan Kotak Pizza Picking a size for a home bakery.

Full description
Packaging is bought on size, quantity and price, in that order, so the catalogue is arranged the way a buyer thinks rather than the way a factory is organised. Flute type first, then size, then the specialist shapes. Every product page prints its reference code and its internal dimensions in centimetres, because the one question a packaging buyer always has is whether the thing they are shipping fits.
The Malay side is the part that matters here. Running a second language as a translation layer on one domain means every page competes with its own alternate, and Malay search terms end up pointing at an English page that happens to have a Malay tab. Giving the Malay catalogue its own domain, its own category writing and its own articles means a search for kilang kotak or saiz kotak karton lands on a page written for that search, not on a translated version of a page written for a different one.

We design landing pages, and customise them to you
One page built around one goal (enquire, book, call or download) and designed for your business rather than adapted from somebody else’s.
